I Found a dust particle or single cell organism. What is it?

I saw this thing in a dust ball under my furniture. I'm not sure if it was a particle of some sort or an single cell organism. It was round. It had a very small white center with small thread like tentacles emanating from the center. It reminded me of a fiber optic light. Or those things that look like cottonballs that grow in fields and you make a wish when you blow on them. Does anyone know what this was?"
