It is much harder than it sounds, but if you really want to do it, Canada's population density is very very low. Go above 60 degrees north latitude, and you're dead to the world. If you want, you will never see anybody ever again. Before you commit, spend a winter in trailer in Fairbanks, Alaska. If that doesn't turn you off, build a cabin within hiking distance of town, and spend a year there. If you can hack it, head for the wilderness.
