Need help to identify a movie.?

This movie is at least more than ten years old. An alien species comes to earth, and they look like sting rays. They stick to your back and insert their tentacles into your brain which they than control you. In one scene they make a guy fly a helicopter even though he never knew how to fly one. Any help. Thanx
